Re: Anyone have an iPad Pro?

@glb613 @dooBdoo Good morning! 😊

Trust me...I do a reboot about once a week, and I close my apps, as well as clear my history AND delete all the website data (advanced Safari settings) several times a day. This being my third iPad, I've gotten pretty proficient when it comes to trying to find work arounds when they become sluggish.

i do a LOT on my iPad...all of my online shopping, as well as online news and entertainment reading. Unfortunately, these sites are ad and gif intensive...and my iPad Air is over 2 years old and has started to reload the pages more often as time goes on. Certain sites are worse than others. For instance, Q and HSN aren't problems...while TMZ (yes, I guilty go there every day 😉), reloads a couple of times each visit. I hate their app, so I'm forced to deal with their website.

All of this reloading began about 4 months ago, but I wasn't too concerned, as ALL of my iPads start doing this as they approach two years old - at which point I upgrade to the newest iPad. Only this time there was no new iPad Air and the iPad Pro didn't appeal to me. I like the easy portability (size/weight) of the Air. So fingers crossed that March brings us a new one...

Have you checked your cable modem, wireless router, and speed of your connection.

My ipad is older than yours and it isn't slow at all.  You need to reset not reboot.  There is a huge difference.  It's similar to formatting and reinstalling Windows.  It will make your iPad work like new.

Yep...yep...yep. 😊

New Netgear router, crazy good numbers for speed, cable modem working like a champ...not only do I get a strong signal on all floors of my home, I can get a strong signal 3 houses away on either side of my home. Again, this issue is only on SOME sites - sites with lots of ads and gifs running. Love my Air but I'm anxious for the new model to be rolled out. 👍🏼

It sounds like you're not interested in fixing your iPad Air.  Why didn't you say that when you first posted?
