That's when you type on the keyboard using a swiping motion from one letter to the next instead of hitting one key at a time. Takes practice to get the swing right but once you do it's fast and fun.

Ok..... still don't understand it.  If I type an "L" and my next letter is an "E", how do I swipe?

Put your finger on "L" and swipe fast to the "E" without lifting your finger off the keyboard or stopping at any letters along the way. You can go across any letter but just don't stop at it, go straight through to the "E". 

If there's a word with double letters, food or community, for example, just hold that letter a little longer before swiping to the next letter. Takes practice but once you get the hang of it, it's fun. 

I'm used to swiping now that sometimes when I use my ipad I swipe by habit and wonder why only one letter appears.

Getting a new phone soon, have to, but it wont be iphone. Too expensive! Got my iphone free a couple years ago on a great deal and wouldnt have it if it wasnt for that

     I shudder to think what those will cost.     I have a 7 and am fine with it for now.   It does do strange things like if I tap the weather app another one will open instead.   I have no idea why but I can live with that until other things start happening.
