Any Programs for Laptop Photos other than PhotoShop?

I'm looking for another reasonably priced program other than PhotoShop as it's $300.

 

I have a Canon Rebel T3 camera and download pics, but need a good program for editing like PhotoShop.

 

Any recommendations and TIA.

I use PSE.   Adobe Photoshop Elements.  I have 3 different versions, and none of them cost even nearly $100.    I like it fine, although I'm not a pro or anything.  I just love taking pics.

 

The expensive ones like Photoshop are probably nice but for those of us who are amateurs, it just doesn't make sense.  

 

There are also some that are free that are decent for basic photo editing.  Picasa is one I've used and it was fine.

If you have a Mac, they come pre-installed w/Photo (iPhoto) & iMovie.

What are you running on the laptop?  Windows???
