Anti-virus protection ?

I just purchased a new Dell 15" computer and wanted to know of a good company that offers anti-virus protection. The new Dell has Windows 8.

Companies that offer free and/or paid protection.

I have McAfee on my other computers but I heard that McAfee is NOT compatible with Windows 8.
