Another iOS7 question...How To?...

Hello techies~another question... How do you now get rid of stored programs history? Like you used to click twice, the icons appeared, you pressed on them, they jiggled with that minus sign and you pressed to delete. I double click now, they come up, icons and pages, but I don't see how you delete? Anytime I try anything, it just brings up that page to full size? How do you clear this now? Tks!!
