Yes, I just got a SD card for my 7 inch tablet. I was wondering about the 10 inch if it will be too heavy too carry around to work for me to read my books on the way home. But, I am interested in a bigger screen. Hope you do a update on how you like it. Have a nice day!

@apple1964

It weights 17.7 Oz-(500) g .The total weight would depend on the case you select. I haven't opened mine yet tablet yet,

@apple1964 :  It's easy to put in microchip but if you are uncomfortable call Amazon and a tech will walk you through it.  Otherwise it you have a young adult in your life, I virtually guarantee he/she can put your chip in in well under a minute!

Is anyone taking out a contract for this? I hate to waste my money, I usually don't take out a contract on an item that doesn't cost much.

I see Q is including the same "customized folio cover"as they usually do (seems to create way more issues than dropping price a couple of bucks and not including it!

I remember getting the "free" case when I bought the 2017 tablet. It took forever to get my case, it was flimsy, I ended up buying a better case from Amazon. A lot of people had problems getting their cases, I called QVC customer service to complain. I'm actually surprised that QVC didn't stop doing business with them, they took the heat for the the company's slowness with getting the cases out. I would rather pay $20 less and get my own case.

I purchase FINTIE cases for all my tablets, wether Fires or an Ipad.

They generally run around $10, depending on your needs.

I choose thin magnetic covers usually.

I have the last 10” model, which is not heavy and has a stunning screen.

The newest 10” did tempt me, but since I got my first  Ipad last year,

Ive not used any of my K/Fires and actually have given them away.

(except for HDX and an 8”!).

When the Q claims there’s huge savings, it’s only because of the extra apps.

they include....which I’ve never used.

Some of them are supposedly $29/year to use.

(but they are “included free” in the TS) l lol

Internal memory can be important, depending on what your intended use may be.

As with smartphones, some apps cannot be downloaded to a memory card. They can be installed only on device internal memory.

The memory card is very useful for photographs, some book and movie downloads, and various other items, which would tend to fill up the internal memory very quickly.
