I have decided to stay with Tracfone, but to get a different phone. Anyone recommend one that they like that isn't the LG41C? I never had problems receiving calls with any Tracfone phone in the past, but this one is persistent in its bad behavior! LOL

I hate my tracftone. Got it from the Q last year with 1500 minutes. Down to 250 minutes and expires in Oct. Going back to the JITTERBUG. NEVER A PROBLEM AND ALWAYS GET A PERSON IN THE FLESH TO SPEAK TO IF A question. I pay 15 a month for 100 minutes and rollover. You can tell a senior and the phone is not my life.
Tracfone not reliable.

I have had Tracfone service for 8 years. Each phone I have had has worked great- up until I got the LG41C. I got the first one and had problems getting my calls. I figured it was defective, so got another LG41C. Same problems. Some calls come through and it rings, some do not. And you don't see the missed call symbol on the home screen. I called Tracfone, but they haven't been able to do anything- or really haven't even tried to do much. I like this phone- if I could get it to work correctly. So, I am thinking of buying a different model that will offer a good camera, voice to text, and work properly!
I get that the phone isn't your life. Not mine either, but with no land line, I need one that works.

DH & I both have and love the LG41C!
We never have dropped calls or calls not getting through.
Good luck on finding one that works better for you, though!

I've been using Tracfone for several years & currently using the Samsung Galaxy that was a TSV last spring. I had LG two or three times & had trouble understanding how to use them. The Samsung has been much easier for me to use. I also am not married to the phone & mostly have it in case of an emergency. Eventually I'll probably drop my landline altogether, just to save money. I know people complain about CS with Tracfone & I can't address that because I've never needed to call them. I've just set up my phones on the internet & also check my minutes there. When I do an inquiry, it sends the response via text message to my phone.
Good luck!

I haven't had dropped calls or calls not getting through on the LG41C. My only complaint is the charge runs down faster than I'd like.

I have been using a Tracfone for a long time. The only problems I ever had was with their CS. I'm glad I hardly ever have to call them. I have never had a problem making or receiving a call. I just bought 2 of the LG Sunset L33L & really like it. DH loves it. He uses his a lot more then I do. Bought them when HSN had them as their TS

Good luck!
I brought a smartphone two years ago, and changed my landline service. I have local calling only on my house phone, and use the cell for long distance. I save a little money each month.
