Acer Aspire reviews and Family Tree Maker 2011 Software

I just want to clarify since a review for this netbook has popped up that claims that the FTM 2011 software that comes with it is a 2 week trial.

**This is not the case**

People who do genealogy will know that you use FTM with Ancestry.com. The 2 week free trial is for Ancestry, the FTM 2011 is the full commercial version, which has to be updated yearly.

OK, so maybe not so many people do genealogy, but I know a few on here and I know that netbooks are pretty popular among and handy for genealogists. I know I commonly run 2 computers side by side to transfer data, and a netbook is handy in any archive or cemetary, beats scratch paper.

I also put the FTM that came with the TSV Acer on BOTH of my computers, possibly because the program is linked, on both computers, to my single Ancestry account. The 'lil Acer handled converting my largest family tree on Ancestry (about 7000 people)to GEDCOM and downloading it to FTM without any problems at all and it did it quickly given the task.
