ANOTHER Motorola problem

For some reason, I now CANNOT text one of my kids!  He can send a text to me but I cannot send one to him.  This suddenly changed when I upgrade my phone.  At first it said something about the SIM not recognizing...I am not tech savy so I don't get the lingo.  I have tried to find how to fix this but no luck.  Seems the more I do on these phones the more problems I have!

Problem solved!  I deleted him as a contact and then added again.  This time I put a 1 in front of area code.  Not sure why but this worked!!

@bargainsgirl - Have you checked out Tracfone's website for the tutorial on your new smartphone?  They have one for each of the phones they offer.  Look under "Help" and then you'll get a dropdown menu, where you can select tutorials and the specific phone you have.

Some of my numbers have the 1 and some don't, they seem to work.  Have wondered if I should do an edit.  Guess so perhaps.
