@Sweetpea70 I agree with @FranandZoe. It's a taupy-grey color.  Reminds me a little of the color of mud.  It's one of my favorite Dooney shades.

Elephant is my favorite Dooney color, but IMO it's not a year round color.  I think it's more of a three season color.  For summer I prefer Dooney's Oyster or Taupe.

Beautiful color; a grey taupe. Ordered the black/black zip zip dome satchel & went back & got the elephant. $60 less on website.
