i ordered a pair of shoes i really wanted 8 days ago. they NEVER arrived. i had to call customer service and cancel any and all of this order to get my $$ back. the lady i spoke to didn't even know where the shoes were! what are you doing, QVC, i should received these in 3-4 days. period. why are you so slow and poor at shippingd??

You can't cancel an order an hour after placing it let alone 8 days. When you look at the order online what is the status?

I recently ordered a purse from another company, took them 5 business says to ship. Not everyone has lightening speed shipping like Amazon.
Mistakes can be made too, we all do it. Including your text, there are mistakes in your post.

@steeple. You are very naive if you expected to receive a pair of shoes in 3 or 4 days. It takes at least that long for it to ship, then transportation time takes another 3 to 5.
days. You can check "order status" yourself and see the shipper's tracking information which is exactly what CS also sees in regard to where you item is. Did you check it? If so, what did it say? You neglected to mention that bit of information.
QVC is not a shipper and has no control over their activities and the cs reps don't have crystal balls to know exact where your order is at any given time.
There was nothing wrong with the CS you received. Your expectations were unrealistic.

Why should you receive the shoes in three or four days? Is that a policy written somewhere, or just in your mind the time you THINK you should have them?
I do not order from QVC for fast shipping--I order items that I really like and I really want. You can certainly pay more for faster shipping.
I do not understand at all what was "poor" about the customer service.
In any case, QVC does NOT control shipping--that is done by UPS and USPS. One time a package of mine fell off a truck, and QVC sent me a replacement immediately. I think the customer service is great!

@steeple Whenever we order, we are given an estimated date of delivery. I doubt you were given 3-4 day delivery. And, even if you had been, delivery arrival dates can change. Things happen. Patience is often a virtue.
I had two orders recently where I received notice there would be delays. One even specified due to mechanical difficulties. So these orders took longer than anticipated, but they arrived in good condition and were well worth the wait.
The Q is not a place to order for immediate delivery. Even shopping Amazon Prime, they will have occasional delays, although less likely. But Prime members are paying for expedited service and their efficient delivery system.

I recently received a package from Amazon...that had been "lost in the mail" for SEVERAL YEARS. It was so old, it was not even on my list of purchases...but YES, it was mine!

I think some have unrealistic expectations...that's my kindest comment.
I do have Prime and more often than not packages take three to four days.

QVC doesn't own the shipping service they use.....like everyone else, once its shipped it is out of their hands. You should have a tracking # - take it up with the carrier. Stuff happens..
