i ordered something last thursday over the phone and i called customer service and they said that it will take another 5 days for it to be mailed out .today is dec 8th..why dont these companies hire more people during this time knowing its going to be super busy but no theyre on tv hawking more stuff and hasnt even fulfilled the orders that they already have. they said it was going to be 3 to 5 business days originally..now its longer..ugh..

Sorry for the delay !  I ordered chocolate flavored coffee pods from HSN a few weeks ago and they actually came pretty quick to the midwest,  I was a bit surprised.

Try to be more understanding esp at this time of the year, delays are to be expected.  What's the big hurry.

@Dazzlespaz1993.  It's very strange.  HSN works out of the same warehouses as QVC and the Q is getting my orders out speedily.  I'm on my 6th day waiting for two HSN orders to ship.

Maybe after handing out all those coupons, there was no money to hire Christmas help?

It's been bad. And of COURSE we want our orders, especially this time of year. What a weird comment above. 

My clothing orders placed NINE days ago finally shipped today.

My HSN orders are being sent out quickly. No problems here.

I'm not noticing any additional delay in my orders. My most recent this week should be coming from the vendor. I don't know how much control HSN over that. 

It's the time of the year for delays. That's why I buy early from all retailers.

My orders have also shipped fast from Qvc and Hsn. I also buy early because when it gets closer to the Holiday there are no guarantees no matter how much the host says you'll get it by Christmas.

This happens every year.

Companies and vendors are buried in orders and USPS, UPS, FedEx, and 3rd party shippers are working 12 hour days trying to get things delivered.  

I never order anything from mid November through Christmas that is a gift.

Many sites are not getting orders out on time or carriers are swamped from Black Friday sales and the usual holiday shopping.

I ordered fromm 4 different places on Black Friday.   Two arrived so far.  One shows label created but no further movement since that.  The other has been languishing in a distribution center near me for days.  It's that time of year.
