I received a really nice camera for Chirstmas, tbh I would love to keep it but I know the person who gifted me the camera can not afford it.
Does anyone know how I could return this item with out the packing slip or order number?
I found the camera on the site and obviously know who gifted me the camera, will that be enough to return the item and have their account credited?

@sullw Since the money will need to
be credited back to her method of payment you might as well ask for the slip if she has one or the order number as she will need to make sure she gets refunded completely. You can't remain anonymous on the return since obviously she will see funds credited back . And are you sure she purchased it from QVC? Since other sites sell the same items. Finding it here doesn't mean she bought it from here. There are better deals out there for the same items.
While you believe she can't afford it, maybe she tucked money away for it.

@sullw How do you know how much she paid for it? Maybe it's a "re-gift." I would just thank her and enjoy her present and not worry about it.

@sullw, if you are determined to return the gift is must be done through her to make certain she is fully credited. This is particularly important if she used easy pay.
Simply finding the camera online does not mean it is the same item number and price at the time of purchase. It could have been a "sale" price or even a one time only.

@sullw Merry Christmas!
Please consider keeping the gift and thanking the giver for her/his thoughtfulness.
If they wanted you to have this gift, they found a way.
If it is a re-gift, you'll embarrass them by trying to return it to QVC.
Maybe there is a way to get money back to them in a discreet way?
If you routinely exchange gifts, (Christmas, Birthday) a generous GC to their favorite restaurant or store would be nice.
There are many ways to help them throughout the new year.

@sullw I think you are sort of stuck here. Be honest, contact her, tell her it's too complicated for you, you don't have time to use it, you think it is beyond your skills, it is a wonderful thought but you just aren't up to using a beautiful camera like this, etc. etc.
Let her down gently, let her know how overwhelmed you are by the thought and the gift but you feel like you can't accept and enjoy such a lovely camera.
You two work it out, and carry on! Enjoy the thought but make it comfortable for both and return it to her or the source. How kind of you to think of her!

If some gives you a gift its they want to. Why would you want to return a gift and break someones heart and possibly lose a friend. Also the item on Qvc might be an older model that just looks the same

@sullw. I think you need to get guidance from CS and disregard most of what is written here. Misinformation. I've never had to return a gift but feel certain there's a procedure where YOU get the credit.
Have you search the CS section for instructions?

@Kachina624 I was wondering the same. I'd think QVC may be able to give them an account credit for the price.

@cheriere Yes, either an exchange or credit I would also guess.
