I bought a few items from gem day , on sale prices. One of the items I purchased I think my mom would like mnore than I do. I was thinking on using it as a Christmas gift. My concern is if she didnt like it, I suspect it would not be returnable. I know Chrismas items purchased in July are returnable, but are any oher items? I could return and rebuy later but that would cost more.

I am pretty sure Christmas returns begin again sometime in September.  A purchase made in August would not qualify.

My understanding was that only items designated as Christmas in July items qualified for Christmas returns.

You're right, other than during Christmas in July, the Holiday extended return policy starts 9/12 according to Mods.
