frustrated re shipping!

[ Edited ]

I have an order that has been sitting in my local post office since 1:30 pm on 9/1. Still no delivery. It is going on 2 weeks getting this order. Surely QVC and my PO can do better. It took almost  a week to ship, and now it is sitting there.

Your problem has nothing to do with QVC.  You need to contact someone in your local post office.  Most likely the week-end + holiday have delayed your delivery.  When that happened to me, I left a note with tracking # for my carrier, telling her I'd like to have it delivered.  Got it the next day.

In my zip code the lazy, irresponsible letter carrier was in the habit of leaving magazines and packages for the sub to deliver.

When the letter carrier's day off came around the sub would refuse to deliver the accumulated pile of extra mail that the regular left for them, pushing it into week two.

The lazy irresponsible one has been promoted to supervisor, and I now have an excellent, conscientious letter carrier. He did admit knowing that some will routinely postpone delivery of heavy or bulky items, hoping to get the sub to deliver it.

Yes. It took Q a week to mail it. That is one half of the problem..

I had to cancel 4 orders because they had been in process for a week and I was going to use them for a long weekend trip. They said delivery would be by 8/29 and as of 8/30 they had not even shipped. I'm not sure why there is such a delay in getting orders out when other companies are able to get your purchase to you more quickly. Think it is time for the Q to review the process.

My theory...........The stuff that ships FROM THE VENDOR takes longer because either the vendor isn't able to handle that much volume OR they just don't care..since you ALREADY BOUGHT IT and we can't leave a review mentioning slow shipping or it gets removed....

Sitting at the PO...... thats on the PO.......laziness....

I don't care who the darn shipper is.....QVC is responsible for your order arriving in a timely matter!!!!

@MalteseMomma  Perhaps you'd like to tell us how QVC is able to control the activity in a UPS distribution center or US post office?

@Kachina624

either they deliver (UPS, USPO or whomever they choose) in a timly manner or they stop doing business with them and hire another company that can handle deliveries better.......like AMAZON  does!!!!!

It's as easy as that! @Kachina624
