Last Thrursday I ordered the todays special item #208-120 The heated throw, as usual after ordering I checked my order status, it wasn't there, so I chatted with CS, to ask why and if my order had gone through, I was told there was a gliych in the system, therefore my order had not gone through, to order again, which I did, now I find myself with 2 orders coming my way, what happens now? yesterday on chat I was told that nothing can be done? it cannot be cancelled, so my question is what do I do when I receive the second order, leave it unopened and send it back, like refusing it, or open it and use the return label, which I'd have to pay for? with no faut.

This exact thing happened to me a week ago.  Social team noted my file for full refund as soon as I sent second item back.  That's nice, easy, but still frustrating.

 

From now on I will not order again until the next day to be sure original order does not show up.

The same thing happenned to me with the TSV big fleece shirts.  I  ordered 2 and I got 3.  Customer service couldnt do anything, it was to far along in shipping. So they said.  Really not right.  Im glad I didnt use my debit card, I would have been really angry that my money was being held up thru no fault of my own..Too many glitches.

That's why I always make note of my order number immediately after I get it.  Even before I check the order detail.  


That way if I don't get immediate confirmation of the order, I still know it went through and I don't order again.  The confirmation doesn't always show up until the next day.

 

This happens with other retailers too, not just QVC.

The item number you listed in the original post isn't a QVC item number.

I'm assuming the mods explained to you that you do NOT need to pay to return the duplicate.

 

It happened to me...just used the label, but need to WATCH your return credit to make sure you get a full refund.

 

You can set up a free USPS pickup on their site...and you don't need to go out of the house to correct this.

 

 

I'm going through this right now...I ordered the KA mixer at 12:43 in the afternoon over the phone.

 

Order still has not showed and never received the conf. email.

 

I called last night and the CS rep put one on Check hold for me....trying to avoid the duplication of such a heavy item.

 

So far, the original order STILL has not gone through.

How do I prove I didn't get a package? I got a damaged item, a George Foreman grill. No invoice. UPS says they delivered me a replacement on the 19th, did not receive one. Why is it up to me now? How do I return the damaged one? Yes I contacted the social team. Same thing, it was delivered, not.  Now I will be charged for two. These things wear me out. I'm 80 for heaven sakes! And a long time customer.
