If you don't want suggestions to help you then why open a thread. No one is going to help you until you help yourself. It is not about time or money, it is your refusal to resolve your situation. Good luck.

I wouldn't be without a printer.  There are many occasions to use them other than to print QVC labels. You can save yourself a lot of inconvenience by having one in your home.

Seems to me QVC, especially with their step by step return video, makes returns very simple.

Answer the questions, select a UPS location, bring it in and show them a QR code - which has become the way of the modern world.

Follow up with a email to the social team to note the item was defected so no return shipping should be incurred.

Sometimes I get return labels, most times I don't. Probably been 8 years since I used one. To me, and the abundant of others that don't need return labels, it is a time and money saving issue. One less thing for me to toss in a landfill.

Clearly, what works for some does not work for everyone. Perhaps, as part of the ordering process they could include a box to check if one wishes to receive a return label with the shipment. I also get it that given all the trouble QVC went to in sending out what sounds like a rather redundant and pointless letter, they might just as easily have sent the return label that was requested.

@knittykitty

Don't you know anyone with a printer that could save you all this trouble?  Surely someone has one!

I print things out all the time for those who need it.  I also scan/fax things for others also.

I realize you might consider that an inconvenience to ask, but that is the way of it these days.  Things have certainly changed, and I don't see them going back.  A nice request to someone would have saved you time and angst!

I never get packing slips/return slips from Walmart, Target, Amazon, JCP etc.

If you handwrite a label as suggested and pay to return a defective item, CS should refund you the return cost I would think.

my post was directed to customer service, I was not asking for suggestions from the noisy posters as I long ago learned this place is full of mean girls, snotty and snarky responses. I had hoped someone in CS would check into this further. instead, I get slammed, told to buy a printer, blah blah blah.

as one of you finally said, getting my point: they could have put the label in the envelope and skipped the 'letter' identifying all the item info.

I fully know how to use the instructions to return. not going to buy a printer; not about the money to do so, I simply will not buy one just for QVC.

I am not checking in for any more of the (non) helpful responses, so don't bother making any more comments.
