broken heart of a miracle child

PLEASE SHARE THIS IS NOT OK

Purchased a Santa’s Best tree last October (2020) because we wanted to have something special for Jackson’s first xmas . he is our miracle baby being born at 4 pounds and me thinking I am way to old to ever be blessed with a new child .. the lights on this tree was so beautiful we were so excited .. he wasn’t born yet (he was born 01/12/21) but we bought it $799 and paid it off over 12 months .. we set it up this year and it was beautiful for one week .. when we came home from Thanksgiving at Melissa mom house the middle of the tree was not lit .. we tried everything but nothing .. I contacted the company Santa’s Best because according to QVC it had a 2 year warranty on the lights .. 62 calls (yes 62) later the company REFUSES to call me back .. I have Emailed them many times .. called and I get a message that agents are busy then bam it goes to leave a message .. it’s been over a month and ZERO context .. I called QVC and they rightly can’t help it’s been to long .. our hearts are sadly not into Christmas anymore after all this .. we set the tree up early so that Jackson’s first christmas would be amazing .. sadly Melissa heartbroken took the tree down and it sits on the porch .. Santa’s best ISNT a company anymore .. they dissolved Santa’s best I think cuz they say a different name when I call .. Publeeo or something .. they have refused to honor ther warranty and I suspect created a new company .. maybe i’m wrong but what i am not wrong about is they have ruined what should have been a miracles first Christmas .. it’s sad how they are allowed to do this .. feel free to call them on our behalf

Re: broken heart of a miracle child

I bought the same company tree.  After two seasons the lights didn't work , there was something wrong with the colors , they just changed on their own.  We tried to fix the issue but to no avail.  I also called many times and never received a response. The tree is in a box which I may donate or just get rid of.  But this isn't right, I should have some explanation or reimbursement.  No Wonder Santa's Best isn't in business.

I am sorry for your problem Miracle Son and hope you can get the help you need to resolve the issue.

@Miracle Son Their website is still up andthey are still taking orders. There are two different offices with contact numbers losted on their website. Check and see if adifferent contact number will have bettwer results. Their trees are still for sale on Wayfair's site.

I'm sorry about your tree, for some reason I was thinking this was going to be a tragic story about losing your miracle baby....thank you for small miracles, it was losing the tree.  I hope your family has a wonderful ChristmasHeart

Re: broken heart of a miracle child

@Miracle Son    It's very unfortunate that you were the victim of a down and out, possibly unscrupulous company which may have been one of the many small businesses that failed during the pandemic.

However, please don't over-dramatize the situation by claiming your not-yet-one year old child is brokenhearted.  It is you who are disappointed, broken-hearted is undoubtedly an overstatement.  One year olds don't concern themselves with things like broken Christmas tree lights.

Hopefully, the mods will be able to help you.

@kitcat51 @Kachina624 @Miracle Son   I agree that the poster gives the wrong impression in the heading and part of the post. It is a bit over the top.

And honestly I've never met a 1 year old child who had the capacity at that age to be brokenhearted.

We adults get sad and disappointed by things Hope it works out for you.

Re: broken heart of a miracle child

I agree it is over the top but I think the poster said Melissa (who I think is the mother} is the one who is broken hearted, not the baby.  I'm sure the baby dosn't even notice.  The mom needs to lighten up.

It is too bad the lights don't work tho and they haven't gotten any satisfaction from the company.

Some of my tree lights stopped working a couple years ago.  I just got a battery operated strand and put that in the bare spot.

Re: broken heart of a miracle child

I have to agree that it is an over statement that a 1 year old has the capacity to have a ruined Christmas because a tree's lights aren't functioning.  I am sure mom is disappointed and upset that her plans didn't work out and frustrated with the unresponsive company.  I think the idea of adding a string of lights (or several) to cover the dark portion of the tree is a workable solution to "save" the tree if nothing else works to sort this out.

Best wishes on getting an acceptable solution with the help of the QVC team.
