I have waited a long time for several refunds, and I'm so tired of how long it still takes. It's quicker to get merchandise credits, but I don't want that, and all I hear is they are "working on it." It doesn't take them any time at all to be sure you get charged. They should be just as fast on refunding.

They get to use all that money legally, even for a short time, that's why.

Maybe, if money stays in an account for a certain time period it earns interest.

It could be they don't employ enough employees...operate lean and mean...or are unexpectedly experiencing excessive numbers of returns that the current staff can't handle.
Maybe, there's a shortage of people to hire in return locations.
Also, possibly, integrating QVC and HSN returns in current or new facilities. Same issues they're having with processing and shipping. But, this has been going on long before purchasing HSN.
Then, there's the possibility, they don't know what they are doing. Good help is hard to find.

I really am over QVC. Their products are not up to the quality of years past. The prices are ridiculous and I should not have to wait weeks for my return. After my easy pays are paid off I am done.
