My forum name changed on its own this week. Why?  I can't change it to what it has been for maaaany years either.

I am CalmInTheHeart.

You are not the only one.  It's been happening to others, as well.

Try changing it to something similar like "CalmTheHeart" leaving out "In" or try other configurations using Calm and Heart.  Maybe, that will work.

Just try capitalising a letter or making one a lower case or adding or subtracting a space between words.  The smallest change will make it a "different" name that the system will accept.

That's strange.  At least "PeaceMom" is similar to "CalmInTheHeart."  Sounds like someone is having fun at your expense.

No, I checked all my systems and ran multiple scans and nothing was found. Only Q's site is doing this.

I can program and do all kinds of things but I cannot find where to change my forum name. Can you tell me?  Thanks.

@CalminHeart,  I just saw your thread and wanted to help if I can.   

I keep seeing posters' nicknames change from one day to the next, often going from starting with a capital letter to, later, starting with a lower case letter. 

This website is a mess.

Did you  happen to review a product recently? 

That process has a glitch that seems to require each person to re-enter their nickname for no good reason.

This is the way to change your nickname for the Community:

1 -- Go to the shopping area of QVC.com 

and then to the "My Account" section

(this is located in your personal account for the shopping site 

where you enter things like your shipping address,

payment and billing info, etc. --   

it is not located in the profile/settings

for the Community forums.)

2 -- Choose "Account Settings" 

3 -- You'll see "Nickname" as one of the settings

4 -- Your current one will be displayed, and you can click/tap the word "Edit"

5 -- Enter the new name in the box provided below the current name

6 -- Click/tap "Save"

7 -- If it accepts the change (important:  you might get a message telling you the name has previously been used and you have to try a different one), then log out.

8 --  Then log back into the Community and the change will take effect.

 (A nickname change might not take effect

until you log out of the Community

and then log back in).
