Whenever I purchase something I see a space for a coupon . I've never received one. Where do you find them?
I've been a customer for many years. What am I missing?

@DonnaE I often times will GOOGLE a site/item and come up with a coupon (from so many sites that offer and specialize in scoping out coupons. Some of them work, but some do not!). There are times when none are available, but I've saved a ton of $$$ the times they are. I also subscribe to many sites that I often frequent and get coupons from them automatically. If they pique my interest then I'll go to the site and use the coupon in that field if I purchase.
That field is always there, but coupons are not always available. Try the GOOGLE method if you don't subscribe to sites as a start. I'm sure there will be other excellent suggestions that I'm anxious to read.

Years ago I used to put in the time and effort after watching Extreme Couponing. I'd be searching for coupons for hours on line and most time it was just a dead end. Many of the coupons that I did find, didn't even work. The days of getting the Sunday paper for the coupon is long gone. Now I use the digital coupons on my phone with 2 local grocery stores I shop. Once a week we get a small local newspaper and it has a few coupons in there, nothing much and usually stuff I don't use.

Check out Mr Rebates, Retailmenot, Rakutan, and reputable coupon sites. There are a lot of scams online so be careful about what site you click on. Some work, some don't. But I have had a lot of luck on the 3 sites I mentioned.

Just do a Google search for coupon codes or promo codes. I can usually find one. Not for QVC though.

I use the Mr Rebates site. It's not a coupon per say. You login and it has a list of thousands of shopping sites which QVC and HSN are 2 of them. If select QVC, it will tell me. for that day, if I make a purchase on QVC, I will get back anywhere from 3% - 10% of the item price (excludes shipping and tax). It is not a coupon in that it does not reduce the price of the item you are buying at that time. If I bought a purse that was priced at $100 and Mr Rebates that day said if I make a purchase that I will get a rebates of 5%, then the Mr Rebates site will add $5 to a rebate total on their site.
You can see your running total for any shopping site you use that is afflicated with Mr Rebates. When you hit 90 days from when you purchased an item, Mr Rebates will move that, in my example, $5 rebate to Available Cash Back. Below is what my current Mr Rebates Cash Back shows:
Pending Cash Back: $116.70
Available Cash Back: $106.62
I have $106.62 that I can tell Mr Rebates, I want that money. Unfortunately, this site only allows you to request 1 pymt per month. And you need to ask for the pymt by the last day of the month. and they sumbit the pymt to you the 1st day of every month.
There are several pymt methods you can select. I choose a check to be mailed to me as I don't use Paypal or Venmo.
Mr Rebates keeps a running total of how much money you have received from them since you first opened an account with them. Since 3/31/2015 I have received cash back of $6,613.21.
A lot of people use Ebates. I just keep it simple and use one.
It can add up over time. But if you want/need a coupon to give you a discount at the time of purchase then this won't work for you.

I too have had a lot of luck with Retailmenot. It is very hit or miss but the hits are worth it.

Once you subscribe to certain websites (Lands End, Kohl's, Macy's, etc) you will get emails that contain better promo codes than offered to many others, always better than Mr Rebates but not always as good as Retailmenot, depending on the retailer.
I usually find the best promo code for the retailer I want, add it to my cart on the retailer's website, and then go to Mr Rebates and get back into the retailer's website from there. It sounds like a lot but doesn't take more than a couple of seconds.
