I placed three separate orders over 4 hours ago within a minute of each other. Only one shows up on my Acct and I actually received an email confirmation. I checked my debit card and it shows I have been charged for all 3 orders and it even gives me all 3 order #s. I've called several times and am being told Qvc has a "lag issue". For 4+ hours?? Why can a place a new order right now, have it go through and receive an email confirmation? When asked that this be escalated I was told I could have a supervisor call me back in FOUR hours!! I'll be in bed asleep, I am totally frustrated as I do not believe QVC is actually addressing my problem and they are just giving me a pat answer. The QVC CS rep has been very nice but she's not getting any real answers on what is being done to solve this, QVC has my money but I have no orders showing and feel there is a real problem here that WVC isn't taking seriously. When will this be addressed????

@MaxT Your orders may not show up until tomorrow morning after overnight processing. However, there seems to be no doubt they're there if you got confirmation.
You have not been charged. There's a pre authorization on your account which will drop in a few days. Most internet merchants do this. I even get it when I buy gas. You are charged when your order ships.

You obviosly didn't read my email. I'd DID NOT a receive email confirmations for 2 of my 3 orders. So QVC didn't confirm and they don't show on my account as placed yet my debit card was charged. I also placed a new order a little time ago and this went right through, including receiving an email confirmation. I know how pending charges work. I'm am 72 years old and probably know more about banking then most of the QVC reps. So why are new orders are going through immediately but ones placed hours ago are missing?? Something is wrong here and your answer isn't addressing what is a problem on QVC's side.

That has happened to me several times. The order showed up on my account the next day.

@MaxT Since you know it all, why did you come here to ask? And YOU WERE NOT CHARGED!

@MaxT - This sometimes happens with orders placed on Fridays and Saturdays, and nobody knows exactly why. But this situation happened to me on Wednesday night this week—I placed an order around 4:00, and at around 8:30, there was still no sign of the order in my QVC order history or in any confirmation email. I then placed an order for a different item and it showed up right away in my Q account and an email, so I put through another order of the 4:00 item just in case. It also then showed up right away, so I figured I was all set. Around 2:00 the next morning, I received a confirmation for the 4:00 order and it also showed up in my Q account. Fortunately, I was able to cancel it so I wasn't stuck with an extra item.
Anyway, long story short, I highly recommend NOT placing another order. The system should catch up in a few hours. And if it is helpful to know, customer service won't be able to see the pending order if you can't, so save yourself a call. Good luck!

@MaxT No idea, but I find that sometimes when ordering later in the pm that it takes the Q a little while longer to catch up computer wise with what's going on. I think that if you went through the ordering process & did not get any errors that you should b fine. Anyway, I hope so.

Same here....ths has happened many times.
I suggest that you just don't worry about it and check your account in the morning.

That is actually not correct. If I have an available balance of $100 in my checking account and place an order with my debit card for $25, it is immediately subtracted and my available balance is reduced to $75. So I am "charged" meaning QVC places a "pending "hold".
Yes, if the item does not ship in a few days that hold will be removed and my available balance will go back to $100. I understand her concern in not getting an email confirmation. If the OP wanted to purchase something else because she is unsure if her order went through, her available funds are reduced which could prevent her from placing another order at this time.
