@geezerette I swear it's the new normal for companies to tell us what we will save if we purchase a product instead of what we have to spend. I'm not saving 2 cents if what is being offered is something I can easily live without.
I cope with buying a bit at QVC by not speed buying. Besides the product details, I want to know the estimated date of deliver (has always worked correctly for me) and the total cost. If I don't like both, I just don't complete the purchase.
Costco is just as guilty - in their monthly sale book of products only what I'd save is there, with no idea of the cost until I'm online or in the store. Just another ploy that lets me actually save by buying only actual needs instead of falling for those good buys. Only their gasoline price makes paying for a membership worthwhile for me.
