I ordered something from Temptations and I am on the East Coast. It went from
I cannot understand why it went from Pa to Florida - this does not make any sense to me. Now it has to come all the way back from the South to the East Coast when it should have gone directly from Horsham, PA to me. Why is this??

Looks like your box wanted to go to Florida like many other folks.
Seriously, these things happened to me several times. One sent from Minnesota went to California when it should have gone to the East coast. It found its way to my house, but it took about 3 weeks.
Scanners reading labels wrong? I think they are put on the wrong truck.

When something is delivered using FedEx to me (not QVC) it takes a complete tour of MN. I'm not kidding, it goes through up to 6, yes 6 towns and there is no rhyme or reason what so ever.
So as far as packages, I'd rather be yours going to FL than mine in MN!

It looks like this happens quite often - at least I am not the only one. I just hope that my Temptations is not broken into a million pieces from being thrown onto all these trucks.

I wish we could attach a GO PRO onto some of these packages so we could follow their shenanigans as they make their way to us ![]()

@loveour4leggedfriends I literally laugh outloud at the routes some, many of my packages take. It comes, it goes, it comes back to bfe, and oh there it goes again back to the same place again - none of which are even remotely close to the large major city I live in!!!!!
No wonder our purchases take so freaking long to arrive to us, sometimes in really bad shape too with again, literal tire tracks on my bags!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And they wonder why we complain!!!!

I had an LL Bean order take a similar route. I live in NJ. It went from Maine, to Connecticut, to Pennsylvania (just about thirty miles from my house) then disappeared completely for several days before reappearing in Florida and then working its way back to Pennsylvania and finally my house.
I was told that the packages go to a sorting hub in Florida and only then go out for delivery. Apparently, a semi-trailer gets loaded in Maine then makes several stops at locations on the way south until the semi is full. When your package is scanned at the intermediate locations it never leaves the truck but is automatically included in arriving there based on the manifest of the truck. Once the semi-trailer is full it's driven nonstop to Florida where the packages are then sorted, loaded onto semi's heading back to the regional distribution centers and then finally off the truck and out to the homes.

gardenman: Wow, no wonder our orders take so long to reach us. This routing system makes no sense whatsoever.
