I am hopping mad!!  I ordered the New Jac's Garden Blouse by Lina Louis Dell'Olio.  It is new to his line of about 3 weeks or so.  I wanted to see some reviews before i ordered.  Well My Order came out of the Ontario, California wearhouse.  I believe that Returns that are sent back West of the Mississippi must go to them.  I received the Bloue today and i opened the bag and what do i smell but Cigarette SMOKE and Perfume all over it.

I paid well close to 55.00 for something that was used!!!

I am not Happy at all.  That is Unacceptable.  I should not have to pay for something that is used.  I hve to stop buying.

Re: Used Merchendise!

You can call customer svce so they have a record of u sending it back as it's defective - worn by someone else and smells from smoke and perfume - to be sure u don't have to pay for return shipping. It is shocking to receive an item like that.

Or you could just wash it.  I say thank goodness QVC send out returns.  I've been able to get many wonderful garments that were otherwise unavailable in my size or color.  I'm a huge clothing buyer and have received hundreds of orders including many returns.  I've never received anything with odors or a garment that wasn't in pristine condition.

I think we can all understand your disgust. QVC will fully refund your money and allow you to ship it back at no cost to you.  Just contact Customer Service and talk to them about this.

It's certainly disconcerting and undesirable to receive used merchandise. But this can be rectified and you can accept an apology and your proper credit. It's your choice to stop buying from QVC, but if this is the first time it's happened, it's clearly an aberration. It's very unlikely this will be repeated and there may be very lovely things to buy that will dispel this displeasure quickly.

The inconsiderate and rude customer who returned that merchandise in that condition is still out there, perhaps. That's someone without a conscience.  QVC warehouse and Return personnel should be better trained to detect unacceptable returns and not to reship.

You are rightfully offended, but you are not actually harmed. Be resilient, get what's coming to you as far as QVC making this right, and move on to better shopping experiences.

Lots of things these days pose bigger worry than receiving used clothing as a disappointing surprise, plus the nuisance of seeing to the return.  Yes, vent to us and accept forum support. But have perspective.

@Kachina624, why should the OP have to wash a blouse that she purchased and paid full price for? That blouse never should have been sent out as "brand new" to anyone! Once again, extremely poor Quality Control at the "Q"!

@hooked on books    Nobody said she HAD TO launder a shirt but to me it's a heck of a lot easily than mailing it back and waiting for a refund.  It's just an option.

@Arizona sunset I am so sorry for the condition your blouse was received in.  I will take a look at the order and issue a replacement if you would like?   Susan

@Arizona sunset   I get this, your complaint about getting clothing, paying good money for items, and the minute you open the package, you're bowled over with stinky clothes - nothing smells as bad as cigarette smoke and/or stale perfume.

I've received items like this from here as well.

Just a week ago I received an obvious damaged Cuddl Duds sweater that had a huge very obvious hole right in the middle of the back of the sweater. Obviously it was already a returned item yet QVC chose to (1) not look it over when it returned at least once already yet they, the return dept, someone chose to send it out again. I was the lucky one AGAIN to get this sweater. I was the customer who put a BIG note pointing out the hole along with a BIG note asking that it NOT be sent out again to anyone.

Yes, i received back all of my money I paid for it however, we do spend good money on clothing here to not expect to receive items of this kind not to mention the fact that I had to take my time packaging up the damaged item and driving to the post office to return it.

@PINKdogWOOD  - You don't have to drive to the post office.  You can schedule a free pick up of your return by requesting it at usps.com.  Your package will be picked up the same time your mail is delivered.  If you're concerned about leaving a package on your front porch, you can hide it behind bushes as long as you notate such on your request for pickup.

This has happened to me too.  I may be overreacting, but at this time with the virus spreading, I am reluctant to buy any clothing new or "as is."  Plus I sure don't need anything new to wear sitting at home.
