Is anyone else experiencing slow shipping with UPS? I have 4 orders where the tracking says they were transferred to my local post office. The post office says they don't have them and they have been experiencing issues with UPS since December.

I live in Northern NJ and packages usually only take 3 days to get to me from QVC. It has now been 10 days!

That's not regular UPS ground shipping. If your orders have been transferred to the post office then you are dealing with the dreaded UPS mail innovations. They are extremely slow. I've had 2 QVC orders lost in the last 6 months using this shipping service. Good luck!

It's not that the actual shipping time is any slower than it should be.  It's that QVC says they ship a parcel, often, 3-5 days BEFORE it is actually shipped.  They've been doing that for a while, though, so it's nothing new.

If you track a parcel, from the time it has actually been received by UPS, you'll find that it travels at the appropriate speed.     It's always been my belief that they tell you it has shipped so that they can collect the money (since they've always said that they don't collect the funds until it has shipped), but all that's happened, at that point, is that they have assigned a tracking number to the order.

$3.00 shipping items  eventually arrive at my local Post Office to deliver which takes extra time;( not speaking here of the time it takes for QVC to send the product out.which is often too long) The items  I pay regular price to ship come directly to me by UPS and in the same timely manner as always.

Anyway, that's the way it seems to be here.

But all that's happened at that point is your order's been picked from the warehouse shelves, packaged, label has been printed and applied, and your order is qued as an outgoing parcel depending on the shipping method you've selected. Every step's been checked along the way. Even then, of course there's a percentage of error.

Once again I'm reminded of the excellent shipping/delivery service I've always had from QVC and UPS.  I didn't realize how fortunate I've been until I started reading QVC customer complaints regarding shipping nightmares.

I'm thoroughly happy with UPS, but if your parcel goes to your local post office for the final delivery you have my sympathy!

My UPS guy goes out of his way to deliver, while the incompetent letter carriers delay deliveries for days/weeks, and argue among themselves about who's NOT going to deliver the parcels on their route.
