I have several packages on route to my address. When checking their process, I've discovered that most of them that were transferred to USPS, have arrived at the wrong post office.  I have one that arrived at the New York post office and two other that have arrive at a post office in my state, but not my zip code post office.  Do you know how long this will delay?  Also your new update keeps saying a date will be the day it will be delivered.  Instead it keeps saying that everyday, till I have no idea when it will be delivered.

@songbird.  QVC  has no idea where your packages are or when they'll be delivered.  It's

Iterally out of their hands.   The tracking is done by the shippers or their agents, usually a company called Newgistics.  They fool around and get them to your local post office whenever it's convenient for them.

@D Kay The mods have no idea when a package will be delivered.

Shipping issues are the reason I joined the USP My Choice program.  Any package from and company sent by UPS is upgraded and doesn't get transferred to USPS. Also get daily text with progress updates. I've had My Choice for about 4 yrs and am very happy.

@mspatmac.  The only packages I've never received the past year were "out for delivery" by UPS.   One sat on my neighbor's doorstep for a week until they returned from vacation.

I've never failed to get packages transferred to USPS and I get them faster and much earlier in the day.

@mspatmac - Yes, the UPS MyChoice Premium option is very nice for upgrading any package sent vis UPS SurePost, which would typically be transferred to the USPS for final delivery; however, it does not offer upgrades for packages sent via UPS Innovations. Just wanted to add this note in case anyone happens to be unaware of the difference.  Smiley Wink

I think @Kachina624  it depends on the service you receive from ones USPS.  My service is terrible and my packages sat in either my local distribution center or local post office for days.  It was so frustrating, at least for me.  Glad you have great service, wish I did.

If they were sent via Q's and many vendors' standard method, they went parcel post or UPS-ground-to-USPS.

Parcel quite often relies on third party companies (not with USPS) to move them from place to place. Those companies aren't going to make a trip that isn't profitable so packages go where they go before they arrive at your doorstep.

In addition, parcel post is the slowest and lowest priority mail. If a post office is buried with higher priority mail, parcel post may sit for a day or two (or more during busy seasons).

@Kachina624   Thank you. The reason is last year this happened to me.  UPS handed it over to the post office, but the wrong one.  It sat in the post office for three days.  Finally I called them.  They said I could either go up there to get it or they will (this time) mail it to me.  They mailed it.  If I had not called them.....god only knows if the package would ever mailed to me.

I just might look in to that pay service from UPS......
