I got an email from QVC telling me my review of a Kim Gravel jean was not appropriate because I mentioned that QVC sent me the wrong size! Really? I see low reviews that complain about not having petites or not having wide shoe sizes that have nothing to do with an item. I received the item it was wrong size and I mentioned that I was sent wrong size! I have been reviewing items for 30 years and I feel insulted that my review is " inappropriate"! I guess you can't complain when QVC makes a mistake and the customer has to return an item! I will probably still be charged a return fee!

@Auntiebean1 : With all due respect the error of being sent the wrong size has nothing to do with the quality of the item you ordered.

I'm sorry that you received the wrong size. The order can be returned and no return fees would be billed to you. You can follow these directions for the return:
Step-by-step guide for Easy Returns:
Send an email to QVCEasyReturns@qvc.com with subject line: QVC Return.
Include in your email: The order number(s), item number(s), item description(s), price (each), and the quantity you are returning. The original shipping fees are deducted along with the cost of the Q Return Label. If your return is due to a QVC error, item defect(s), or request for exchange/replacement, there's no charge to you for using the Q Return Label.
Tell us if you would like to receive an exchange or refund. Return your package back to QVC using the Q Return Label with selected carrier of your choice.

@Auntiebean1 Maybe they are finally going to crack down on reviews that are not actually about the product as that does not pertain to the quality, fit, etc of the item. Your review was not about the jeans but about the service. That changes the effectiveness of the review which we depend on for information about the item before purchasing.
Reviews that complain about shipping, errors, etc. defeat the purpose of an item review. Especially annoying are reviews from people who didn't purchase the item. Hopefully, they will delete this type of review.
This is the first time I have heard of an e-mail advising a review was inappropriate. Hope that means QVC is going to clean up the review process to only reviews of the actual item.

Agree with previous posters that reviews of an item should only be about the quality of that item, not shipping, errors, poor customer service, etc. I always ignore those criticisms but it does lower the rating of the item which isn't fair.
Sorry, @Auntiebean1 , no sympathy from me!!

@Auntiebean1. I never hear of them sending letters about reviews, however it beats just wondering why your review never got published.
Somewhere on the review page and I don't know if it's still there, they asked that you evaluate the product's appearance and performance only and not bring up customer service issues which can be resolved elsewhere. Maybe they're finally cracking down on this, as they should. There's a lot of unnecessary stuff unrelated to the above included in many reviews.
If you ever get charged return shipping on a return due to a qvc error, all you have to do is call CS for a refund.

Maybe AI is scanning the reviews...

Can you post the review here? We'll let you know what was inappropriate.

@ValuSkr. That hardly seems necessary since she's told us what she said and it sounds as though they were correct.

I read that review and it had nothing to do with the actual item.
It clearly states that reviews should pertain to the product itself, not complaints about shipping issues, etc.
Your review was not helpful to other possible purchasers, because it did not mention the product, it was simply a complaint about receiving an incorrect item. That's not what reviews are for.
A complaint about receiving the wrong item should be dealt with QVC's CS, there are many ways to do that.
