Maybe, just maybe the reason people say or even do this (many still do) has nothing to do with what's trending.  Cutting up the card will simply ENSURE they won't use it.  If they cut it up, maybe they can't use it again.  That's how I always viewed "cutting up the Card."  Wasn't so much about the company, but rather their inability to keep from charging.

Anger.  People come here and vent.  They are frustrated so they make announcements.  There are plenty of posts on these forums we don't need to know.  Went to Trader Joe's today....so?   People come here to ask for medical advice so that should give you a clue.

I think that a lot of you have missed the entire point of this post - the person is just frustrated and venting that frustration.  It seems that a large part of you just want to criticize someone for venting a pure emotion.  If you don't like what is being said, just go on to another post and keep your critical remarks left unsaid.

If posters stopped writing about things no one else "needs to know", a good 90% of the threads would disappear.
