Thank you, Barb, for helping me last night!

 

I was on the forum earlier in the evening without any problems.  A few hours later, I had a problem with my wireless router, so used my phone as a hotspot to try to access the form.  I got a message saying I was banned from access, due to "excessive flagging". 

I had no idea what this meant, so I emailed the team, and Barb answered.  She checked my account from their end, told me I was not banned, then explained that a hotspot can alter an IP address, and I must have been using a banned IP address with the phone connection 

I'm now using a new wireless router and all is well. 😊

I'm still unclear what excessive flagging is, but I am innocent!  Lol!

glad you got your situation straightened out.

 

i do believe "excessive flagging" means hitting the "report inappropriate comment" button too much on forum members posts.

@sunshine45    I was kind of guessing that might be it?  But since it wasn't actually referring to me or my personal account, I was surprised to get that message 

 

I don't excessively flag or report inappropriate 😀
