So a while ago I showed DH the Bethlehem Lights Battery Operated Window Candle TSV at midnight on September 13. We have window candles, but they're older and they don't adjust. I was glad he seemed interested, so we chose a color. We ordered enough for our windows, then went back and added another set.

 

 

They went from "in process" to "backorder." OK - I understand things are different. I was happy to see last week the set I added to my first order - right away, still right around midnight when there were plenty in stock- had been shipped. 


The main order remains in "backorder."

 

So they came, and they are a "return."  I was SO disappointed! I've read the reviews, and I'm just hoping they wouldn't resend out a previously returned defective candle. So tomorrow DH will set them up when he has time, and I'll hope for the best!

 

This has happened to me before, and I've posted about it. I've been let down, eagerly awaiting something and having it be used and/or damaged when it comes.

 

 

 

I realize in these days being upset about this seems trivial, but when you order a TSV shortly after midnight you deserve to get a NEW item! Smiley Mad

On a hopeful note, I bought the BL window candles with timer and sensors at least 15 years ago and mine still work beautifully.

 

Fingers crossed that your's are good!

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
