What an amazing group the Social Team is. Their level of Customer Service is second to none.
The RMS bronzer that I ordered and received early last week shipped out in the wrong color. I immediately called CS and they said they would send out a new one and sent me a return label so I could return the one I received. I did that the end of last week. This morning when I went to check on the progress, I didn't see anything in the works, but I did see one of the colors had already sold out and the item was now on sale for $6 less. I wrote to the Social Team and got such a fast response from MELVIN. He credited my account the $6 and made sure the correct color would ship out and even gave me an ETA. THANK YOU MELVIN!

Yes indeed they are an effiecent machine! Melvin as many on the team are quick to respond and I am always pleased. Best thing the Q ever did. I hope the Social Team knows how much they are truly appreciated!

They really are incredible about handling any of these kind of problems. They go above and beyond and always respond so quickly. I also love how they understand what I am saying, explaining, and never reply with a reply that isn't so helpful!
So many websites respond with a pat reply that has nothing to do with resolving an issue, or credit.
They should be the CEOs of QVC!

@nyc1, I thoroughly agree with you .Melvin should be a mentor to others on Social Team and also some of the hosts on the Q. He is always patient , kind and wants to help cust. Special THANKS to all on the SOCIALTEAM but especially Melvin!!

QVC's Social Team, as well as Customer Service, is excellent in providing answers to questions or helping solve problems!
The improvement with QVC's Customer Service is 100% in the past year. Each call is answered with courtesy and respect now. It's easy to call with a problem and confident a reliable response will be provided! In the past, that was not always the case and I often was hesitant to speak with a CSR.
Often I would write the Social Team instead! And, they always helped.

I certainly was not appreciative of the social team last week when they allowed a certain thread to go on for hours filled with homophobic slurs, insults and name calling by one poster. It should have been squelched seconds after it appeared. I don't know what the problem was but I was thoroughly disgusted, especially since they were notified in case they didn't see it.

I don't know why some threads that should have been taken down aren't or why other posts or threads are and you wonder why.
Sometimes I think maybe they aren't here? Or at a meeting or who knows?!
I think they are really great at responding to things re orders and shipping, credits, etc. pretty consistently. At least in my experience with that.

@on the bay. I assume in the case I cited above, for some reason no mod was working. If that the case, an explanation and apology should have been given to board member who had to view the offensive thread.

Boards like this have a profanity-filtering function, which is how moderators are notified about banned content.
It would be tough to filter out everything because trolls can be tricky in writing their hate speech.
Honestly, though, I see racism and homophobia here often enough—regular posters who take issue with POC or queer hosts about nonsense things—the number of posters rabidly defending that racist QVC email that went out a few months ago, etc.

@Squirrels Are Trash. Are you aware that we have the ability to quickly notify the mods of what we think may be inappropriate content? They investigate and make a determination. The thread in question was blatantly outside of the rules by miles.
