I've shopped with QVC for years with no major issues, but recently I've encountered issues that make want to cancel everything. I've recently used various online checking accounts with different financial institutions instead of credit cards to pay for my QVC orders. QVC will cancel these orders, yet the checks have been cashed. After speaking with CS didn't work, I've emailed and communicated with QVC social team and yet nothing has been resolved. I've continuously been told to wait 3 to 5 days, check back tomorrow, etc etc., yet these items still show canceled even though I've attached proof of payment in emails. Of course, knowing my luck by the time the finance department or whoever they claim is doing the research actually applies these payments as they should have been applied originally the items will no longer be in stock. What would you do next?

What I'd do next if I seriously wanted the merchandise is use a credit or bank debit card.

Thanks for the response, However, I am not too keen on paying for the same items twice.

Re: Suggestions

[ Edited ]

@CeCe9   I think if you look at the bank account more closely you'll see that the charges are pending.  When you place an order, there is a hold put on your bank account to make sure the funds are there.  It's up to your bank when to release the hold, but it's usually less than a week.  QVC doesn't actually charge your account until the order ships.  It's just a pending hold.

Edited to say:  I see you paid by check so this doesn't apply.  I thought you meant you used a debit card when you said it was coming out of your checking account.

How do you figure you pay twice?  With a debit card attached to your bank account, the money comes right out of your account just like a check.  If you pay the balance on a credit card each month, there is no interest charged.

I use a debit card for all my shopping.

I'm not speaking about future purchases. Great advice on how to avoid future issues.👍👍🏾. I'm looking for assistance or suggestions on how to take care of what is going on in the present. Money received by QVC - items not shipped out and still remain canceled.

Sounds like you should have a refund coming.  What have you been told about it? Is there a reason it hasn't been issued?

It depends on who I am speaking with. I was told the proof of cashed checks was being researched by the Finance department. More than enough time has elapsed for the payments to have been applied properly. The items still show canceled on my QVC account.

@NickNack  the OP said she paid by Check and the Checks have cleared. It seems as if it happened some time ago.

I'd write a letter to the office of the president of QVC.  I think it might be more effective than a phone call.  If you have names of people with whom you've spoken, include those.  Sorry, I'd don't have names or addresses but I'm sure they're available online.
