I ordered a Primula item on 11/21 with an estimated delivery date of today and here we are with no delivery.  The order is somewhere between here and Hooterville.  It says it will be here on 12/4.  I wish QVC would stop using USPS for delivery.  It sat in process for 7 days... my guess is QVCs fault.  How the hell does this happen?  I'm about to give up ordering from what has become nothing but a freakin joke of a company.  Slow shipping, broken items and faulty products. It's becoming very irritating and as a customer I EXPECT better than this.

I ordered a pair of pants on the 25th.  Just got an email that they will be delayed...This is so unacceptable.

I agree, but amazon uses usps without problem.  I found I am charged immediately on my qcard and now on 1 pair of mukluks pj which was mia for almost 2 wks, I am to receive it tomorrow. Ordered 11/17 and charged 11/20 and still not here.  I wonder if it helps to complain to bank, or am I just too stupid to stop using Qvc.  I'm tired of having CustServ on speed-dial.

Re: Stop using USPS

[ Edited ]

I ordered the double IT CC Cream on Nov. 26 at the special price, I don't remember if it was called a TSV but I do know it wasn't said to be an Advance Order when it was being presented but it is now when I check the status. In any case the estimated delivery is Dec 19. But at least I knew that right from the get go when I got confirmation of my order right after I placed it. Fortunately I'm in no immediate need of it or I'd have cancelled it in a NY minute.

QVC shipping is a mess right now.

One of the things I ordered last month was in process for a week, then it took 4 days to move from the warehouse to the final UPS destination and get delivered to my local USPS.

My local PO was not the problem" the accepted delivery and got it to my door in under 24 hours. QVC taking 7 days to process the order was by far the biggest chunk of time.

USPS isn't the problem. UPS isn't the problem. Once a shipment leaves QVC, or any retailer, for that matter, they have no control on how long it takes to be delivered. What QVC IS responsible for is the unreasonably long time items remain in process when they are ordered. Sometimes it seems like they have it together and then they hit a snag. I don't know what their problem is because they never let us know. But I will not be ordering any gifts from them this holiday season because who knows when they will arrive. Q really needs to get its act together.

I get much better service from the USPS than from UPS.  I have 5 items in transit where UPS has not updated the tracking for 4-5 days.  The supposedly left Hodgkins, Il and disappeared, normally a 48 hour trip to Albuquerque.  I rejoice when something ships straight USPS.

@Azcowgirl.  Do you suppose the weather in the Midwest could be delaying some shipments West?  My pkgs haven't moved either

You're most likely right.  It's QVC's fault.  Look to see how long your order was in process.

If QVC processes packages late Friday, UPS doesn't pick them up until Monday. So, look for that.

Usually, USPS and UPS get my packages to me rather quickly, unless they sit at an UPS and USPS distribution center or post office over the weekend.  No activity at that time other than during the Christmas season.

Don't know where Hooterville is in relation to your local post office, or is it your post office, so can't respond to that.

If packages are on tractor trailers they do travel through weekends continuing to your closest local UPS distribution center to be sent to your post office.  But, if it's a late Friday afternoon or evening, packages remain there until Monday.  Again, there are exceptions over Christmas.

On occasion I have seen both UPS and USPS send my boxes way out of my area, then return.  I suspect they were put on the wrong trucks, then eventually caught and returned to my area for delivery.

One package, not from QVC, was sent from Minnesota that went to California, the wrong direction.  I was watching it on tracking, so I called UPS and they said they couldn't do anything about it because it was on a tractor trailer.  It was eventually sent back to the east coast, but took 3 weeks.

Another time, the box arrived at my post office and sat there.  After 6 days, I called QVC and was told to wait 7 days.  Still didn't get the package.  QVC, then sent me a replacement.

There are a few other instances, but you get the idea.
