I ordered the Tommy Copper socks on 3/3 and it is not getting here until at least 3/12 or 13. Same thing with other things. I decided to cancel an order about 12 hours after I ordered it and it would not let me but stayed in processing for days. Are they shorthanded or what. I only order something here if it is cheaper or cannot get anywhere else. Qvc has become the last resort type of shopping.

QVC is probably placing an order with the Vendor’s Warehouse and the items are shipping to the QVC distribution center where they have to be turned around and shipped out to the customer.
This is adding days and days to delivery and the customer can’t cancel. it also means that the inventory is being kept at the manufacturer not at QVC to reduce their costs.
This is their model of inventory control but I’m not so sure that the customers are happy with with it. Amazon is setting the delivery time standard and this is not acceptable anymore.

QVC shiipping is notoriously slow. When they say "expect to receive your shipment in 7 to 10 days", they're usually not kidding! Oh, yes, there's the occasional anomaly when a shipment comes more quickly. But those occasions are the exception, rather than the rule. Sadly.

@Krimpette They are slow on refunds too and there’s no excuse for it.

They are extemely slow!! I ordered many things almost a week and still showing processing. I tried to cancel because of it still processing but, of course, I couldn't. I ordered a handbag from L&T yesterday and it shipped this morning and I should get it Wednesday. I have a few returns still no refund. It's frustrating.

I've experience the same issue. I've ordered items and the status will say "processing" for days - and then the slow shipping! You can't count on receiving an item unless its 7-10 days now. Very frustrating.

I don't have a problem with shipping on time. What I have a problem with is Shipping & Handling ☹
I purchased 3 items that were shipped in the same package and was charged shipping and handling for all 3 items! QVC is going downhill, I think that solidified me not shopping at QVC. Other places offer free shipping and handling if you been with them for a while or if your purchases exceeds a certain amount.
Also, what I purchased were from LOGO, Joan Rivers, and G.I.L.I., I was horrified at the quality.
I spent over $220 for merchandise that would have cost me $60 at Marshals! So disappointing what is happening at QVC.

@chiclet I really think it depends on what you order and where you live. I ordered the Kuhn-Rikon shears on Wednesday 3/6 and received them Sunday (yes Sunday) 3/10 by USPS. That was a surprise. Fortunately, I have never had a problem with deliveries.

I ordered the Big Bonanza TSV bracelet and matching stud earrings. They were supposed to be here on 3/8. They didn't ship until 3/6, USPS. They shipped from Florence NC to Morrow GA, flew over or drove by KY where I live to Urbancrest OH. Today they arrived at the PO in Cincinnati and will be shipped back down to KY sometime today. That package has seen more of the country than I have. I'm out of the mood now and pretty sure I will be returning both items. I'm done.

FYI, I called CS today on fashion orders placed 4 days ago and not shipped. Was told there is new software being installed and perhaps my orders were not updateed but had actually shipped.
Too many changes in system and no good results. Expect some issues based on this information.
