I ordered something from Valerie Parr Hill's collections on August 10. Today, August 16, was the expected delivery date, but it's still in the 'preparing your order' status. I know others are having the same problem, as I read the forums. I just emailed the qvc social team, so I'll have to wait to see what they say.

@newjersey - Yes, I ran into the same problem with two recent orders. I finally canceled one, got the cancelation confirmation and then two days later the order shipped!
I was told by the Social Team that I'll have to return it as "Incorrect Item Sent" so I won't be charged return shipping.
The system is a mess.

@Venezia , I agree - it is a total mess. I'm not understanding WHY though.

No way to know if the warehouse is short staffed, the item is not in the warehouse or the ordering software is broken. Of the three, my sympathy is with the warehouse staff.

Yep, like you, Valerie item expected on August16, which is today. However, item still is listed as preparing your order.
I have another item, ordered on August 9, which also is listed as preparing your order.
My favorite is an order which was ordered with something else, the Listless, which arrived in three days. The second item in the order, from Beekman, is listed as Shipped. The money is out of my account, but since August 11, my order is Awaiting Carrier Pickup.
I do not usually order so much. But tomorrow is my birthday. With free shipping last Saturday, I decided to treat myself. What a joke!

Well, the qvc social team got back to me and said either the item will ship or be cancelled!!! What?! Possibly cancelled? What's the sense of ordering items if qvc cancels them? I'm sincerely asking. I don't understand this way of doing business.

If the item might be cancelled, is there something they know about it? Is all of the information about " preparing your order" just automatic? Does it mean nothing?

@KailaS , I don't know what they possibly know, lol. I don't know if preparing your order is automatic. I only know, at the moment, that qvc is messed up.

I need to comment that Holly from the Social team helped me a great deal with my three messed up orders today. She was friendly, helpful, and brought some fun into my afternoon and early evening too. Best of all, she listened and gave me some options. Now I remember why I like QVC.
