Shipping Issue Solution Unacceptable

I placed an order on 6 September for a Susan Graver top. As of today, the item has not shipped. I phoned customer service, and their solution offered is unacceptable. I was told to wait four more days (the package due date for delivery to my home is tomorrow). The status is still showing the item has not shipped. After four more days, what then? Wait another week or so for delivery?  I was given the excuse that QVC has two new warehouses. And this is the customer’s problem? FYI: the item is not “back ordered” or “waitlisted”. I am starting to think QVC’s shipping issues are getting to be too aggravating to deal with. Are others still have the same unsatisfactory shipping issues?

This has happened to me more times than not. However usually after it ships it’s at my door two days later. It always arrives by the estimated delivery date. Hopefully this is case for you.

Moondance, Thanks for your response. When I have previously had this problem, maybe once or twice, the item was shipped out immediately. I did receive the item close to the delivery date. However, today, I was told I had to wait four more days before anything could be done. The only thing the phone customer care rep. could do was check with the warehouse while I am required to wait four more days. Someone at QVC needs to look at some of their slippage in regards to “customer care”.

I learned years ago never to order anything from QVC that I can't wait for.

 

It is not just the new warehouse issue, QVC has traditionally always had slow processing and delivery.  Yes, it is slower now but their history has always been slower delivery than other retailers.

 

We know this...so I just accept it.  If I need something faster, I look elsewhere or local.

 

Typically, I am never in a hurry!  Would I like it faster?  Sure!  But slow delivery isn't something that upsets me.

@Jeanne from VA.   Your order must be a fluke.  I've placed a lot of orders lately and the longest it's taken one to ship is 3 days.  Just had one ship in 1 day.

Me, I have this same problem, why???

 

I ordered 2 sets of votives from VPH on Sept 4th, still says "in Process", this is ridiculous.

@Jeanne from VA  The shipping is dreadful. I have noticed that those items that are shipped from the vendor, e.g. KitchenAid, Shark, Dyson, Callista, etc. are shipped almost as soon as ordered. The inhouse items such as Denim & Co, Susan Graver, Cooks Essentials, etc. seem to get stuck in shipping limbo and take forever to arrive.

 

I like Denim & Co. However, I simply will not order anything from them anymore. My Q orders are way down. I did take advantage of the free shipping day last Sunday but did not order any Denim & Co even though they had some things I really liked.

I have been a QVC customer for at least 15 years, and have never seen the shipping issues/problems that seem to be so prevalent now.

I have two items, ordered on 9/1 and they're still 'in processing.'  As of this morning, they are and have been in stock, so I cannot for the life of me understand what the holdup is, but you're right about it being unacceptable.  And, I am convinced that I must have a screw loose to be ordering from here.

Hey, I also have an order that’s in the Process since Sept. 1. I received an email saying it was due to Dorian. So I waited a week and was told it’s still due to Dorian. It’s the Barefoot Dreams TSV which they put up by mistake and it took it down shortly after but I was able to place my order. Everyone else has received there’s according to the Barefoot Dreams 2019 form. And now they put the TSV Up for ordering which will air on Saturday. It went up for ordering yesterday and some orders have shipped already. As of today imy order is still In Process 11 days out. I don’t get it. I can’t even cancel the order because it says in the process. Or I would cancel and just reorder it. What a mess.
