I ordered well over 2,000$ in merchandise I’m new to easy pay so when I saw I can make payments over a few months I couldent get any happier so I made around 500$ in payments up front on like around 7/8 items 2 items being quite large worth around 1600$, I ordered a Dyson air wrap for my daughters #1 gift I ordered 2 weeks before Christmas. No fake sob story but around the week before Xmas my 3 year old was in out of er, so I already was having a hard time managing all different shipping order numbers but I knew all my packages were gonna be there by Christmas. Longer story short I spoke to someone told them the items I was missing was okay to get refunded for the items that were 20$/25$ but then my main gift to my daughter she goes n says it’s not in stock I check the website n it’s in stock so they send me a email confirmation for 10$ refund ( not the Dyson refund ) they dident even send me that yet, so pretty much they took the money Dident send my item n pretty much screwed me over an already tough Christmas, I don’t recommend ordering easy pay on larger items they take ur money n don’t send items then they lie n get upset at u for being upset.. unbelievable

@NancyM29.  Your post is very confusing but the #1 thing you need to know is that QVC  never charges for an item until the day it's  shipped.  If your Dyson never shipped, you weren't charged.  There is a routine pre-authorization done that confuses people and causes them to think they were charged but no money comes from your credit card.  The authorization "falls off" after a few days at the discretion of your CC company.

 

You can check the status of your order on QVC's website under the Customer Service section (Order Status).

 

You need to get your facts straight before accusing any business of scamming.  I've shopped here over 30 years and have never had an unsatisfactory experience.

Welcome to the Forum.  

 

You said you purchased around $2000, put $1500 on easy pay.  Unless you used easy pay before, I doubt QVC would allow you to charge that much even though your CC bank says you have enough in your account.  QVC might do a credit check with the credit agencies.  That might take a few days. 

 

For matters such as this, don't always count on Customer Service Agents to know the answers.

 

Your best bet is to send an email to QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com with your order numbers and reason for the inquiry. 

 

Let them sort it out for you.  They respond very quickly.  Make sure you check your grammar and spelling, use paragraphs, when you write the letter.  Your post here is quite difficult to read.

You are not charged for an item until it ships.

 

Use paragraphs and correct spelling.

 

READ the definition of "scammers." shame on you for calling Q this. You don't know what it means.

Extremely hard to understand what this poster is saying.  There are too many "new" posters that do this and complain about QVC.  It is very strange.

I know it might seem like I’m coming of as a Karen but I don’t think u understand my frustration, I’ll break it down for you since your so upset by my review. 1. I ordered around 10 items with 3 orders, my first order was for the Dyson air wrap and a Nintendo switch the payment went through my Nintendo came in n it was taken out of my card and I received confirmation emails such as shipping as well as delivery confirmation and I sighed ahead of time on my ups app so it was not required a in person signature for release I gave the okay to leave them at my door, so no mam I’m not that stupid to not realize if I wasn’t charged for something or if I was denied an item ( my sister was denied an item n she got notified right away n the money came back in her card around 6 days later) so no that was not the case. 2nd like I said I had 3 orders so I waited until everything was confirmed delivered through emails and text to be sure there was still a window for everything to come in, 3rd I opened all my packages from multiple places and orders on Christmas Eve ( like I mentioned in my review I was not home to go through every package right away cuz my 3 year old was in the hospital, so I did not notice what was missing until I got home, I know that does not concern you but this is something to me that adds on to my frustration on account of if I was home I would have realized sooner n coulda have act faster). 3rd I had to wait until after Christmas to call customer ( it was obviously closed due to holiday times) so my eldest did not get to open and receive her main gift (if u have children u could understand the disappointment in this situation) so next I spoke to someone and reported my missing items yes she was nice and helpful but told me that 2 out of 3 items missing were not in stock witch was devastating so they shipped out one missing item witch was worth around 20$ the second item was a 10$ item I received confirmation that the 10$ would be refunded to my card, now here’s where the what feels like a “scam” to me comes in, the item that was most important that cost the most that I mostly cared about the Dyson was not in stock ( once we hung up was soon back in stock) I asked the lady that if I was refunded as credit can I use it to order a new one n start my easy pay again I was told that the credit can only be used as a whole payment so was not worth store credit so then she has told me she can refund me my first payment back on to my card ( I know that takes time but like I said I never received any confirmation that I was going to get my refund they were quick to refund me the 10$ but not the 150$ ) all I wanted was my item I did not want to scam, lie and cheat like I know others do, I just wanted what I paid for n what I ordered I just wanted some compromise in this situation. I called back today to ask if everything was okay since I did not receive any confirmation for the 150$ refund and the lady that I spoke to she was the one getting upset, witch led me to get so upset I felt like my hands were tied n I just lost money that i worked hard for to make my kids happy this Christmas (witch I’m happy they were regardless of this situation) . So case in point, they took the money, they ruined my daughters main gift n then got upset when I wanted to confirm that my refund was in process. I guess they were hoping I’ll forget about it n not only loose on such a important gift seems like they also just wanted to keep the payment. I just wanted to leave this review cuz it felt like the only thing I could have done to cope with what happened just like many, many others do. It was not intended to offend anyone it was not me judging it was just what I went through with this company in these past few days did not mean to get u so upset, I hope u now understand.. happy holidays, happy you seem to have had a much more Pleasent experience with qvc then I.. Yes I’m sorry could have been explained better lol I was using siri to talk text, and was just so upset at the time. I explained the situation much better in response to someone’s comment . As in the payment I had 3 separate orders that all together equaled around $2,000 but I did easy pay so it must’ve been a typo my down payment for the Dyson was $150 plus a Nintendo on the same order that I did receive was a down payment of 120$, then my other 2 orders where around 100$ each down payment so in total I gave around 500$ in a one week time frame. Everything had went through I received most of my items nothing was declined I had multiple emails and text of confirmation for shipping and delivery for all items including the Dyson. Anyways thank you for the advice on the customer service email, but honestly at this point it caused so much frustration I’m willing to just take the lost, I hope this did not happen to multiple families. I was just personally going through so much with my little girl that made this situation just so much harder to deal with.

No I am not new to this site, myself and my family have been using this website since quite some time now. Not that I need to explain it to you, but might as well since you’re so concerned before I ordered these items I had to contact customer service to set up a new account on account of having a new address and a new debit card if I had ordered with my old account my items could’ve possibly be sent to my previous address and charge a different card. I personally spoke to customer service and they had helped me set up this new account and agreed that it’s the best thing I should do. Smiley Happy
