While still in snowbird mode, I decided the carpets in the condo should be steam cleaned. Found a Kohl’s email with coupons and cash rewards waiting to be used. Read all the reviews and ordered the Hoover carpet cleaner.

Last week I did all three rooms with carpeting. What a surprise: the cleaner was easy to use and did a fabulous job. Evidently, the engineers figured out how to simplify the process ! The water extractor function really works !

Now, DH wants to have it UPS’d back home. May cost $65 for a $199 cleaner. He thinks it is worth it !

PS: he did the two throw rugs on the lanai with a little coaching.

I would just buy another carpet machine. By the time you pay for shipping each way once you will have over half of another cleaner in shipping.

i wouldn't pay $65 for shipping.....i'd just buy another one for your second home....jmo...

I really don’t want to needlessly spend $130. The shipping $65 is the best option. I need the carpet cleaner at home and for the other house.

There isn’t a need for the cleaner in FL.

Maybe I'm totally confused, but why did you buy it and use it in FL if it's not needed in FL? I too would leave it there for future use and buy a second one for the other home.
