Return Fees Ridiculous

I purchased a pair of slacks for $51 on easy pay. I returned them immediately. I had made one payment of $11.00 plus change. I used return shipping label. I was refunded a total of 0.64. Apparently I was charged for shipping which was $3.50 x 3 for a total of $9.50. I called customer service and they confirmed I also had to pay a fee for return label along with shipping fee to and from. I am done with QVC. Possibility of needing to return an item is too risky and too expensive.

@Kkkkkkkkk I beleive for returns QVC has been deducting the cost of shipping the order plus the cost of the return label from the the refund for years. This is nothing new.

@Kkkkkkkkk. All the charges for returns are clearly listed on the website so they shouldn't come as a shock. You do get a big break on original and return shipping compared to USPS charges.

usually for clothes that the original shipping was $3.50, the return shipping label is $6.95 , however some items the return label is $7.95. It used to say on the return label .

I always price shop. I can find what I want elsewhere for free shipping and free returns 99% of the time.

My rule...never order clothing, shoes, electronics from Q. No Q card.

@Kkkkkkkkk these fees have been in effect for a very long time. It should not be a surprise. Shipping costs from all carriers are expensive and keep going up. Companies are not in business to lose money. Very few companies offer free shipping and free returns. HSN charges even more than tge Q to return things.

Most companies are doing this. They can't absorb the shipping and stay in business. I returned a something through another company and $10 will be deducted from my refund for the shipping, much cheaper than if I shipped it myself.
