Receiving previously worn garment

It's happening more often that garments received are obviously worn. There are stains, hairs and sometimes even used tissues in pockets. Where is the quality in the Q? And when I have returned a used garment, I am still charged shipping.  Bye bye  for clothes shopping.

Re: Receiving previously worn garment

How do you know that it is "happening more often?"

If you call or chat, it's likely the return shipping will be credited to you.

If you received a clearly used and stain garment, you would NOT have to pay to return it.

Contact the mods with your order info and they will make sure that you receive FULL credit.

I've received items with fur on them, and we don't have any pets. Hair, as well as lint.

@Nonewnane    You are exaggerating.  I order tons if clothing from qvc, sometimes averaging 30 orders a month.  It's not unusual for me to receive a returned garment.  I have never in over 30 years of shopping received one that wasn't in pristine condition.  They all must have been tried then returned to QVC, not worn or used.  Those would have been sold as "as is".  Mine have all been beautifully folded and neatly packed in their plastic bags.

It could conceivably happen if something escaped the notice of the packer, but it would be extremely rare and could be returned for a full refund.  To say it's a routine occurrence is just wrong.

@Nonewnane

Your complaint has been becoming rather frequent here.

I, too, received some sold as new in recent years.  I understand QVC uses scanners to detect usage, but I must say they fail big time when they miss large amounts of food slopped down the front of a sweater, dog, cat, and human hairs, bird poop, and strong perfume, all over the items.

I have no idea how two wet t-shirts passed inspection.  One sloshing around in the bag sealed in water, the other all wet.  Someone didn't like QVC, customer or employee who did that.

I wonder why I never received anything like this from any other retailer.  Probably, because they only accept unworn returns in new condition.

Re: Receiving previously worn garment

Thankfully this has never happened to me and I think I buy lots of clothes here. I have to admit that I never ever buy "as is" things, clothes or anything else. I just don't want to buy anything that someone else has had first, one of the things about shopping online that I like instead of store shopping. The other suggestions of contacting CS is also what I'd suggest. I've never contacted them and not had my issue solved.

Re: Receiving previously worn garment

As a general rule, I attempt to only buy clothing when it is presented as "New Today" so I am assured of receiving unused, unworn items.
