I just received two items this week that were NOT new items. First, I received a pair of Peace Love World jeans that came with cat hair! I’m allergic to cats and immediately started to get a runny nose and watery eyes. Then, today received a Me by Jennie Garth sweater hoodie and the item had clearly been washed as you could tell by the wrinkled inside tag and folding of item. Really QVC? I have been a customer for 25 years and this is getting rediculous. These were NOT as is items. I’m not sending them back because return fees are so high. I am really contemplating not ordering anymore. Items have gotten so expensive and quality just isn’t there.

@nicole s @This is the description of "as is" items
This item may be a customer return, vendor sample, discontinued inventory, or on-air display and may not be new. In some instances, these items are repackaged by QVC. QVC does not guarantee that this product will meet your expectations or standards. Additionally, for a variety of reasons, including, but not limited to, the fact that the item is not in its originally manufactured condition, the manufacturer may not, and you should not expect that the manufacturer will, honor any original warranty that may have been offered in connection with this product. As with other items sold by QVC, we want you to be completely satisfied with every order. Accordingly, if for any reason you are not entirely pleased with this product, simply return the item within 30 days of receipt for a refund of the purchase price minus the shipping and handling charge and the Q Return Label fee.

Hence the term "as is". I will buy anything as is except clothing, just for the reason you're experiencing.

A few posts ago someone noted receiving "as is " items and very disappointed. That's the reason I don't purchase "as is" I only purchase new items. I don't want anything someone else has worn. When I receive my fashion order it goes straight into the washing machine before I even try it on.

@nicole s "As is" means exactly that. You get something that's used or returned. Easy peasy.

@nicole s. Mark them defective and return them. Usps will pick them up at your home with a return label.

I have never purchased as is because I do not want items like you described. So many the first thing they do is wash and item and I am careful how I do that. I'm just not crazy about used.
If I were to buy and as is it would probably not be in the clothing line. That is just me. Some have had good luck.
I wait for clearance or lunchtime deals the most.

As-is means it's a return, worn by models, or used on air or display. If you aren't willing to take a chance on as-is, buy just the new items at full price.

AND @nicole s
You will/should get a FULL refund!
OF course send them back!! Super simple.
Use the prepaid label.
Go online and schedule a FREE USPS pick up. Stick it in your mailbox.
You will have an email receipt of the pick up.
While I know you shouldn't have to go through this, it really is very simple.
I'd probably call CS and let them know your issues....and have them mark it to give you a Full refund.
NEVER keep something that is defective!!!
