There was a promo for the QVC gift cards for every $50 spend, you'd get a $10 gift card promo card. I bought them thinking, it'd be simple enough. It wasnt. I can't see my whole balance at checkout and can only use up to $100 on my purchase online. Customer service told me the balance is correct but I have to call in to order. I will NEVER buy a QVC gift card again. BIG headache.

Re: Rant: QVC gift cards

@H12345678910  Just add them to your account as member credits.  Easy to see your balance that way. When you use a gift card to make a purchase, any balance automatically gets added to your account as member credits anyway.  It's really not all that complicated.  Good luck...

I had the same problem. I received eight of the promotional cards and could only apply three to one order. I called customer service, was directed to Cash Star, who directed me back to QVC. I did get a really nice rep who did all she could to help, but she couldn't add the last two gift cards. I hope when I am ready to place my next order they work or the credits appear in my account. QVC makes you call to have this corrected, which I understand, but all in all I was on the phone for 45 minutes and still wasn't able to get a complete resolution.

On the plus side, at least it is something. QVC rarely gives loyal shoppers any type of special offer - except EZ Pay (no thanks). When they do, you have to work for it! LOL!

QVC - You should look into making the promotional card process easier for those of us who take advantage of this savings opportunity on future purchases.

I had problems not with a promotional QVC gift card but getting a gift card for my sister a couple of years ago.  Purchased it in November (at least a week or two before Thanksgiving) for her birthday in mid December.  I thought that was plenty of time.  Nope.  To make it even more difficult, you had to call a different number.  QVC doesn't  "handle" their gift cards.  Can't give you any information o their end but the gift card number didn't help either.  Couldn't tell me where it was....if they mailed it, where it was....it was a terrible experience and I never ordered gift cards from QVC again.
