REFUND ERROR ON MY RETURN

I just realized there's a problem with my recent refund of Skechers shoes.  I have these shoes already, purchased elsewhere, and was buying another pair. 

 

Well, the interior of these (QVC purchase)  shoes have some weird slippery coating (unlike others of this style) that make them impossible to keep on the foot.  Never seen anything like this before, and I've had several pair of Skechers over the years.

 

My review indicated what the problem was with these shoes. 

 

Anyway, I returned them ... and my total refund was $1.91.    I thought returns of defective items meant we didn't have to pay the $6.95 charge.     IMO, We shouldn't be charged for sending back sub-standard merchandise.  

 

Can you help me with this?   TIA !!!

@Tinkrbl44  A full fund in the amount of $14.34 has been refunded to your account and the future easy pay installments canceld.
