Question For CS....Exchanges

Hello recently I purchased some v neck tank tops in different colors....the size was to big...I needed to go down to a XS.  I maiedl them back last week requesting exchange for smaller size BUT I see the tops are not available but are on waitlist.  Will they put me on waitlist for them...when they get the returned/exchange tops?  I ask this as now the tops are not on buy more and save like they were the day I ordered them.
