Re: QVC social was zero help

Hi @Gabidog, I am so sorry, the system will not allow us to cancel the order, however I will be happy to send a request to have it canceled. There is no guarantee, but I will try.

Re: QVC social was zero help

Alice.  I appreciate your trying to cancel this order that is nearly three weeks in limbo.  If the system can no longer do what a customer wants then the system needs to change.  This item is NOT IN STOCK!  I can buy this shoe at Amazon at the same price with no shipping!  After this amount of time and not knowing if or when this shoe will ship I think I have been more than patient...cancel this order.  When I placed the order it was in stock with a delivery date of 8/12....long past due and I grow more annoyed each day.

@Gabidog - This seems like a frustrating situation, to be sure, but since you won't be charged for the item until it ships—and it seems like that may never happen—why not just buy from Amazon if they have what you need? That way, you get the item you want and will only have to worry about the QVC situation if something actually does process. (And in that case, your account has been documented, so you should be able to just return the item for a full refund.)

And just FYI, no one is lying to you or trying to make your life difficult by not assisting you in cancelling your order; with the way QVC has set up its supply chain over the past couple of years, changes to orders depend on the vendors in virtually all cases and are completely out of the hands of customer service (even managers). There just isn't a communication or system channel that connects all the way through. Sad but true.

Just be prepared to accept the fact that the refused package will take forever to process.

I would recommend that no one ever refuse a QVC package; it is worth taking the little bit of time to remove the old label and put on the new one so you can record the tracking details, have your package properly entered into the courier's system, and get proof of delivery. And with the new label system QVC has been using, you may not even have to open the box to do that—you can just peel and stick the labels as needed and schedule a package pickup or drop it off yourself.

Re: QVC social was zero help

Well, order was finally cancelled so I guess it is possible.  I cannot remember how many years I have been buying from QVC but it exceeds 20 years.  I hope at some point before all customers become so frustrated they stop buying that QVC adopts a system where we can once again cancel an order that does not ship as promised.  For me this was just a corporate attitude of not caring about the customer.  And I realize there are other companies out there that are not perfect but I guess we are remembering how QVC used to be and it was much better before all of the growing pains.
