QVC selling USED items as NEW

This is the second time in the past year that I've purchased an item from QVC's website that was advertised as new, yet I received something used.  This item had an "As Is" label on it, but my ordering history doesn't say anything about it being "as is."  I think QVC has a responsibility to disclose when selling the items if they are returns/used.

I don't know if you have ever emailed the Qvcsocialteam@qvc.com before, but I would reach out to them with your order information and a photo of the "as is" label. I would ask for a full refund, including all shipping charges. Then I would use the Feedback function found at the bottom of this page to communicate a complaint to them about this situation. Your total satisfaction should be their goal, whether it came from their warehouse or a vendor warehouse. I have received used items from both Belle by Kim Gravel and Issac's line.... I've also received the completely wrong sku from Issac's line.
Frustrating I agree! We are told we will be receiving new merchandise that "hasn't been hanging on a rack and tried on several times." That guarantee is one of the things that makes QVC merchandise unique and they should back up their guarantee.

That has never happened to me, but if it did I would send it back. Some say "oh just wash it" and something about buying from the Store. At least you can see the item at the Store and know what you are getting. Buy it or not.

I wash everything that comes close to my body before wearing it, but not a dress. I also do the same with sheets, towels and things of that nature.

Since 1990 I have never received anything used.  I have purchased several "as is" items and have always been happy.

Reading the complaints about this problem it seems it happens quite a bit. If you are paying for NEW, that is what you should receive. Seems the warehouse workers are not taking the time to check/process returns or used items.

I can't tell you how many things I have gotten this year that was used and I bought as new. I call back and tell them. What I hate is getting clothes that has a strong perfume on them. I have gotten two of those and sent back.

Re: QVC selling USED items as NEW

I have never received something marked as is but I have received items that were definitely worn. Kleenex in pockets, strong perfume or body odor. I stopped buying clothes from QVC. First, the quality is lacking and most of the prints from all designers are dated and not attractive to me. Second, the shipping time is unreasonable compared to other online retailers (Land's End, J JIll, Appleseeds, even brick and mortar with online shiopping like Macy's or Neiman Marcus.) The prices are comparable for far better products.
