QVC puts me on 'easy pay' when I don't request it !!!

I've been a customer of QVC for approximately 30 years.  I 'KNOW' how the ordering process works.  I have found that often times, when I order a product, either by phone or online, that when I request the product be purchased in FULL PAYMENT,   it shows up in my ordering status as being purchased on the 'EASY PAYMENT PLAN' !   I have brought this to the attention of QVC before, to no avail, obviously.  Last night, I made a phone purchase and was VERY CAREFUL not to buy the product on the easy payment plan - and lo and behold, this morning, when checking my order status online, it states that it was purchased in 3 payments !  THIS IS SO NOT ACCURATE !   I'll be calling QVC customer service this morning about that.  Something is definitely wrong - and it's NOT MY ERROR !

This has happened to me so many times that I have become extra vigilant. I often bypass the speed ordering feature so that I can better insure that I have one payment. I do not understand why QVC has easy pay as the primary option. One payment should be the automatic option. Easy pay should have to be specifically requested.

@sarahpanda - I haven't had this particular experience, but I have to check every return to make sure they don't charge me return postage (if I mail myself), or if I cancelled an item and it shipped anyway (to make sure I get a full refund including shipping both ways) or if something is defective to make sure I'm not charged shipping and return fees.  I haven't been checking my easy pays to make sure they are cleared on refunds, but I'm thinking I really should.  QVC today is not the QVC of old, in many ways.  I realize things change, but accurate accounting shouldn't be one of them.

I have learned that if you use Speedbuy, if easy pay if offered it is automatically applied.  Not sure if that is what you did, but just wanted to pass along that information.

I always use Speed Buy and not Easy Pay.  You have to check the box that states something like "I want to review my order ..."  At the next page you can change the payment option to 1 payment.

Wow, did not know you could change the easy pay to one pay if you just went to review order......just did it.....I for one am not interested in the payment going on and on, so a no brainer for me....thanks for the suggestion..

This happened to my mom once.  If you elect "Speed Buy", it automatically applied EZ Pay to whatever credit card you used last.

You can go into the order before it gets locked down/in process and change it yourself to one payment.
