I have seen this now - "nobody wants to work"- a couple of times in this thread. A study was done a short time ago about why there's a worker shortage going on in America. It was mentioned in an article in the New York Times or Washington Post (can't remember which one). One of the contributing factors to the shortage was at least 1 million seniors decided to not return to work and instead decided to retire. Why? They enjoyed their day to day freedom of not having a job so much during 2020 that they wanted it to continue and all I can say is good for them!

 

To all of you complaining about "nobody wants to work" - which isn't true by the way- I say why don't you take a turn and get a part time job. Especially if you're retired...you could be part of the solution and help America get back on its feet.
