Hey, how can I get your website to stop flipping my pictures. The photo was taken in portrait and when I upload it, your website flips it to landscape. It doesn't look right in landscape. The picture is correct on my desktop computer after I transferred it, but not when I upload it here.
ok for some reason it didn't flip it this time. I don't know why it did the multiple times I tried uploading it earlier to another thread.

@jaxs mom Is that your kitty? He's adorable! No cat can resist a Christmas tree.

@jaxs mom. Thank you for sharing this picture of your tree and your adorable kitty. It brought back good memories of why I no longer put up a tree. I had to put my tree between 2 windows and tie it down but they still climbed. Eventually those 3 passed and now I have 2 more tree climbers. They love my Charlie Brown tree. They love the little white owls that live there. So far they take them down but do not destroy the feathers. Until I can trust them ( probably never with my tree) I will not get out my tree with Joan Rivers eggs and other ornaments. My fur babies are always feral or rescued and I promised them a loving home for life.
The past few weeks since winter arrived I have counted up to 15 cats at a meal on my porch. I have 11 that I have caught and had neutered in the last 4+ years. A neighbor down the road has counted 10 at her house. The SPCA is going to neuter for us a little at a time. The neighbor is going first and then me. Local farm buildings house feral cats so wish us luck. Feral animals are a problem and we need to help them have the best life possible. That includes neutering but the adults have to be returned to the wild. Drive by my house on a sunny day and you will think my trees grow cats. They are a joy to watch as they have formed their own pride and care for each other. The least I can do is provide food and water as needed. They all hunt and leave me gifts of tails by the porch.
Sorry I got off topic. Helping neuter feral cats and improving their lives is important to me. I was a dog person until mobility issues made having a dog impossible. Then 2 barely weaned kittens appeared on my porch. They are both a joy and a delightful pain. They are my inside climbers. 2 years and no broken vases, etc. Wish us luck.

@jaxs mom @PamfromCT. The thanks go to our local SPCA No Kill organization. We have to trap, transport and accept back all the cats after neutering. Vets and vet students donate time to do the procedures. They try to find homes for all small kittens and they have many. Out here in the country every house needs a good rodent hunter. With grain fields and out buildings all around there are plenty of mice, rats, moles, etc. The cats earn their keep but do need help during the winter months as they also compete with red and gray fox, coyotes, etc.
Some have made it clear to me that when I took away their " personality" I will have to support them for life. "You can finger pet at the food dish but don't pick me up.". ;-). At dinner time I probably look like the crazy cat lady to strangers driving by. Nothing is more relaxing than watching the interactions of animals and their world around them. Just wear good gloves when gardening.
As of last week dinner is 6 and 6:30 the dishes come in until AM. I now have a possum and 3 raccoons who have discovered us. Even an ugly possum can have a personality. I just walk the visitors off the porch. There is no danger because they do not feel trapped. No rabies in this area but always beware. The biggest raccoon picked up the large cake pan, dragged it to the steps and actually picked it up and down 2 steps before she spilled it. Raccoons are a circus just like in the commercials. ( Years ago I was a raccoon rehabilitator.). She has lots of fat and a very thick beautiful coat so I know I will have a very cold winter.

We had a possum that took up residence in our garage a few years ago. At the time we were feeding a local stray and giving her shelter in our garage as we tried to integrate her with our house cats. The possum thought it was very nice that we provided food and water 2x a day and a heated bed to sleep in. That cat is now my daughters and lives inside.
